Various options
Older foundations often require repair or replacement. They can be cracked or settled, or they may lack rebar. We can help you figure out if your foundation needs work, and help you decide which option is best for the safety of you and your house.
Crack Repair
For smaller cracks, repair can be as easy as filling the crack with epoxy. If a crack is too severe, or there are too many cracks, we would most likely recommend replacement.
Settlement
Settlement can occur from ground movement, especially if the soil is unstable. In the event that the foundation is severely cracked due to unstable soil, we would recommend filling & compacting the soil and putting in a new, reinforced foundation.
